Attorney Robert W. Dietrich is a founding member of the Dietrich & Kenyon firm. Bob assumed an Of Counsel role at the beginning of 2022. Bob’s thirty plus years of experience have been of great benefit to our firm as he is routinely consulted on complex matters in the furtherance of our firm’s client cases.

A graduate of Michigan State University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Bob started practicing bankruptcy law in 1994 and was focused on helping his clients save their homes and work their way out of debt. He is admitted to practice before the Western and Eastern Federal Districts of Michigan, State of Michigan Courts and the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Bob has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Consumer Bankruptcy Association Eastern District of Michigan, Debtor’s Bar of West Michigan, Institute for Continuing Legal Education, Northeast Michigan Bankruptcy Bar, American Bankruptcy Institute, National Federation of Independent Business and is a past president of Gilda’s Club of Greater Lansing.

While serving in an Of Counsel role with Dietrich & Kenyon, he continues his practice in many areas of civil law including Divorce and Family Law, Real Estate Law, Wills, Trusts, Probate and Estate Planning.

Bob lives in Okemos and enjoys sailing, bridge, analytical problems, traveling and gardening.
