Attorney Laura C. Duncan leads the Dietrich & Kenyon firm’s bankruptcy litigation practice and focuses on our firm’s post-confirmation case management.

Laura’s experience prior to joining Dietrich & Kenyon centered on the management of an array of client cases at various stages of the litigation process. Laura worked in solo practice while fulfilling her clients’ goals by negotiating with opposing parties to find equitable resolutions to disputes. Laura thrives in environments that require creative solutions to resolve complex issues, which is what has lead her to join the team at Dietrich & Kenyon.

In 2018, Laura graduated from the Michigan State University College of Law in East Lansing. She graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilizations.

Laura decided she wanted to become an attorney when she was in sixth grade because attorneys can make a real difference in peoples’ lives. Attorneys possess unique qualifications that allow them to help others find real practical solutions to the very real problems that we all face. Laura joined the firm in January of 2022 because she believes in helping those burdened by circumstance and financial hardship to find access to economic justice while achieving their clean slate.
